The。Rocket League。Championship Series is coming back for a second season hot on the trail of Season 1's grand finals. The 3v3 tournament is open to North American and European teams who can sign up for the qualifiers on Aug. 24. 。

RLCS is bumping up its total prize pool to $250,000 。
After the success of the first season, RLCS is making some changes that include raising its total prize pool from $75,000 to $250,000. Additional prizes have been dispersed throughout the tournament's newer, simplified format. 。

Once teams qualify, there will be league play throughout September and October. There will be eight qualifying teams from each region. All teams will get a piece of $28,000 for participating. Between weeks two and three, there will also be a mid-season classic tournament with a $10,000 pot. 。
The top six teams from each region's league play will then go to the regional playoffs on Nov. 5 and 6. That's followed by a $25,000 regional championship. The top four teams from each region will advance to the grand finals, which alone have a $125,000 prize pool.。 Details about the date and location of RLCS Season 2's grand finals have not yet been released.
